That's ok - even people who know (art anyways) didn't have a whole lot of meaningful things to say.

You're supposed to be creeped out by it. The crooked angles and Japanese horror movie ghosts were deliberately made to make people uncomfortable - so it totally makes sense, and means I was successful. Thanks!

lol. That's good I think. I love it... but I wouldn't want to look at it every day either.

I too don't really know enough to say anything with great meaning either. I didn't really understand the piece at all until Austin peered over my shoulder and made noises like he knew what was going on. I hope you don't mind that I had him explain some of the significance of the "wallpaper" text and the documents used. This must have been very cathartic for you, from what I gather. I can definitely understand why many of you classmates didn't really get it or have much to say. I think that to understand all the intricacies of this piece one would really have to know you quite well. Over all I like it and now that I have a little background info I understand it a bit better. :)

I don't mind at all. He's one of the people I think that could really interpret it, especially because I learned so much about composition and intertextuality from him. I think it was... it hasn't really hit me emotionally... but I was so upset while I was making it, that I think maybe the calm I feel about it now is the result. I guess I hadn't thought about it that way; only that I was being really honest and revealing all of my secrets to show people who I am. Thank you. I really appreciate your thoughts, this is one of the most thoughtful responses I've gotten - and I really really am grateful for that. :)
